Delivered by Neil Price from the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) this taster session covers a range of subjects tailored to people starting out in business.
This workshop focuses on the bigger picture of running a business, and includes a brief overview of the legal issues and the importance of managing money.
The aim of the session is to help you understand the challenges and benefits of running your own business and where to go for help.
ADVICE TO PUT YOUR COMMERCIAL PROPERTY DEAL ON SOLID FOUNDATIONS

Paul Earnshaw, a partner at Crutes Law Firm in Newcastle, has more than 18 years experience in commercial property law, with particular expertise in landlord and tenant work.
During this session Paul which will give an overview of the most important legal issues to consider when buying selling or renting commercial property. He will also highlight the pitfalls and opportunities to look out for and how to make the process as cost-effective and as stress free as possible.
Paul will give examples from his own invaluable experience of dealing with a wide range of clients including property investors, SMEs, owner-managed companies and Plcs. He will also be highlighting the problem areas that potential tenants need to look out for including repairing obligations, unexpected costs and break clauses.
